Format:

Face to Face

Duration:

4 Day

Course Code:

  • T9004F-UK.TR

Pre Requisite:

  • T1933E

  • T2222E

Only technicians who have passed this course are permitted to work on the H.V. components and systems of the eActros and eEconic. This course is designed for Systems Technicians who are required to work safely on eActros series 983 and eEconic series 956.53. You will receive an in-depth description of the new H.V. System, function and location of these components. To De-energize the high-voltage network and Restart the high-voltage system using the XENTRY Diagnosis, and to “manually” disconnect and reconnect the H.V. system safely. The training course only deals with the high-voltage systems of the eActros model series 983 and eEconic model series 956.53. It is not permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles of other vehicle manufacturers and/or on high-voltage bodies with the qualification obtained. This requires training by the respective vehicle or body manufacturer. It is mandatory to pass the prerequisite training (T1933E – High-voltage Systems in Motor Vehicles Awareness AND T2222E – High-voltage Basic Qualification)  before admittance. If this is not met you will be refuse entry without refund. Objectives: After this training, you can: state the personnel permitted to work and where on the vehicle, identify components of the high-voltage on-board electrical system and their location, describe the design of the high-voltage on-board electrical system, explain the design of the individual cooling and heating circuits using schematics, describe design measures that serve to ensure safety, identify indicators in the instrument and state their importance, correctly de-energize and restart the high-voltage vehicle on-board electrical system using XENTRY Diagnosis safely, manually de-energize the high-voltage vehicle on-board electrical system, perform insulation resistance and equipotential bonding measurements, assess damage to high-voltage batteries and resulting hazards for their safe transportation. Contents: Face to Face training course Introduction vehicle tour. High-voltage components: Charging system, Battery, Battery Management System (BMS), DC/AC inverter (inverter), eAxle, Electrical compressed air compressor, Electric refrigerant compressor (eKMV), Evaporator thermal management (chiller), PTC heaters Maintenance. Qualified battery Specialist:  Li-ion battery assessment.
