Telematics/Fleetboard Practice

During this face-to-face session, you will apply the information and tasks from the Virtual classroom regarding the Telematics for Actros5 and Arocs5 which can also be applied to the 2nd Generation Atego.

You will identify and locate the components and the integration in the vehicle.  You will also have the opportunity to couple to the vehicle to check the systems, this will give invaluable skills for diagnosis with the Telematic systems on the latest range of trucks.

Contents – Face to Face class:

• Antenna locations
• Vehicle Networking of telematics systems
• The location, and function of:
  • A150 Common telematics platform (CTP7)
  • HMI – Human / Machine interface: A151 Control unit for instrument cluster (IC) and Ethernet,
  • A153 Instrument cluster screen (ICS)
  • A154 Control unit for head unit (HUS) “touch screen”
• Other systems covered:
  • A155 Control unit for wireless smartphone connection (WSPC)
  • A158 Android Black Box (ABB) and intergration in the network (USB),
  • Camera systems and “Low Voltage Differential Signals” (LVDS) (HDVS).
• Operation of:
  • Multimedia cockpit, interactive (code J6C)
