Successful completion of Maintech Technician qualification
This Virtual Classroom is the first of two double modules.
T1028V-UK.TR1 must be successfully completed to gain the qualification. During this multi-module Virtual Classroom you will gain an insight into the foundation electrical system and the various types of network signals used in the truck range. This will give invaluable knowledge for diagnosis on all truck electrical system.
Module 1 and 2 – By the end of the course the participant will be able to describe:
- The on-board electrical system and bus systems in the current Actros 5, Arocs 5 and Atego truck range
- How to trace electrical faults in the foundation electrical and electronic systems effectively
- Strategies and practical procedures when diagnosing complex electrical and electronic systems
- The prognosis for faults from various scenarios simulations and associated diagnostic operations
- The interdependencies of the various subsystems through theoretical examples and exercises
- How to work through current topics and diagnostic cases
- The electrical integration in the new network architecture and how this affects diagnosis and repairs in the workshop.
- Power distribution for the on-board electrical system and bus systems in the current model range
